Jason Statham, né le 26 juillet 1967 à Shirebrook (Derbyshire, Angleterre), est un acteur et producteur britannique. Ancien plongeur de niveau international (12e mondial en plateforme en 1992) et pratiquant d'arts martiaux (kickboxing, wing chun, karaté), il effectue souvent ses propres cascades. Il débute au cinéma en 1998 dans Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels de Guy Ritchie, où il incarne un escroc charismatique, suivi de Snatch (2000) avec Brad Pitt. Ces collaborations marquent son ascension. Il s'impose comme star d'action avec le rôle de Frank Martin dans la trilogie Le Transporteur (2002-2008), puis dans Crank (2006) et sa suite (2009), War (2007), The Bank Job (2008) et The Mechanic (2011). Il rejoint la franchise The Expendables (2010-2014), puis Fast & Furious en incarnant Deckard Shaw dès Fast & Furious 6 (2013), avec des apparitions dans Furious 7 (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017) et le spin-off Hobbs & Shaw (2019).
